She was a very good MP...I am a fan of Jenny Tonge. She was a very good MP. I am also not a big fan of the way the state of Israel acts and the way it treats the Palestinians. However, Jenny has always had the ability to offend normally sensible people by saying what she does about Israel in a thoroughly insensitive way. A classic case of opening her mouth and putting her foot in it.<br /><br />I am sorry she has felt obliged to resign the Lib Dem whip. However, your piece was absoluetly spot on.
